gluhwein, and the peace and quite of the city on Christmas Eve as
everything closes down early!  If you ever get the chance to experience it
you should, at least once.

On New Years Eve (Silvester) there is a huge "party" throughout the 1st
District from the Rathaus to the Stephansdom with live bands, gluhwein,
and places to buy your good luck charms for the next year.  At midnight
the entire city erupts in fireworks.  360 degrees around you for more the
30 minutes, the sound and the lights are like nowhere else in the world.
From every corner of the city people are launching colorful rockets and
fireworks.  If your lucky enough to have a roof top view you simply can not
believe your eyes!

Here are a few photos from our Viennese Christmas season!

Our tree this year was over 11

so it would not hit the ceiling!
I think Muzzy was the best Christmas gift the
kids could have imagined!
Bradley with his new football from
Grammy & Grandpa Gene.  We took a
nice walk down to the market in the

Pogo stick Mary! We were all very worried she
would bounce into the wall!
Bradley's birthday party was at the gym again this
year - it was an Awesome Gym Day Party!
